Campbell (Guitar, Bass, production and mixing) "Rising Sun" is best known through the version recorded by Eric Burdon and the Animals in 1966. The song was first recorded in the 1920s by bluesman Texas Alexander and later covered by Leadbelly, Charlie Byrd, Roy Acuff, Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Dolly Parton, Henry Mancini, Marianne Faithful, Jimi Hendrix, Judy Henske, etc. |
